Designer: Sasa Barnes
Completely at ease only when immersed among interesting, unique and innovative design, I am a young student finding my own style and direction. This stool was created as a result of my interest in simple timber manipulation and admiration for Brazilian designer Sergio Rodriguez. Through CNC machining I have created a relatively simple, rhythmic and fluid form which highlights the beauty of timbers natural short and long grain.
This stool was produced over a period of one semester with the help of Patrick Koca and Adam Goodrum. It is the first time I have used timber in my design process.
